Contact and Corrections

Wilderness Programs Guide welcomes corrections and clarifications. This page explains how to send a request so it can be reviewed efficiently.

There is no contact form on this site and no phone line. Requests are handled in writing through the email address published on this page when the site is deployed. If no address appears, the site is not yet accepting requests.

To help review a request, include the following. First, the article title and its page address, copied exactly from the browser. Second, the specific sentence or paragraph at issue, quoted in full. Third, a short statement of what you believe is inaccurate and why. Fourth, the evidence that supports your view, such as a link to a primary document, a published policy, or a dated record. Fifth, your relationship to the subject, if any, so the request can be read in context.

Requests that identify the article and provide evidence are easier to assess. Requests without a source, or that ask for promotion, removal of accurate material, or rankings, are generally not accepted.

Accepted corrections are noted in the article itself. The guide does not publish reader submissions, personal stories, or identifying details about any individual, and it does not provide advice about a specific person or situation.
